The recessed hood allows for maximum airflow while reducing back flow of exhaust air. The built in opening and closing damper prevents back drafts and stays closed when not in use. The removable hinged guard prevents critters from entering the home through the vent and allows for easy cleaning when necessary. The vent can be painted to match your home’s trim color. The plastic vent has a UV additive to prevent premature fading due to the sun. Check local building codes prior to installation.
